Quest tour for blind and foreign tourists -
Power to the people!
In Russia there are no adaptive multilingual tours for blind, deaf and foreign tourists. On the one hand, it is a problem of violation of the constitutional rights of citizens with disabilities, guaranteed by the Constitution of the Russian Federation and international obligations of Russia. On the other hand, the low level of tourist attractiveness, in particular, in the Novosibirsk region, in comparison with other regions of the Russian Federation. And also we have problems for foreign tourists related to the language barrier.
The project involves the adaptation of the existing Museum in the city of Novosibirsk tour to the quest tour for blind and foreign tourists made in digital format, which allows to provide multilingual and adaptive content, as well as increasing the saturation of the tour material. The quest tour will be created in a multi-language platform “Environment without borders”.
In the framework of the project we will elaborate on the possibility of establishing a marketplace to buy Souvenirs and tourist services to blind, deaf and foreign tourists, which will provide data collection, building analysis map the behavioral characteristics and demand for goods and services marketplace with the aim of improving proposals and sales performance of travel-related goods and services.
As a result of the implementation of the project, regulations will be created for the development of such quest excursions in the «Environment without borders» platform and the improvement of tools for the analysis of the provision of tourist services in the «Environment without borders»platform will be carried out.
The project is an element of the system of building affordable tourism in the Novosibirsk region, increasing the tourist attractiveness of the region.

OUR EXPERIENCE:
Our team already has experience in the development of 3 quest tours for the blind, developed by the order of the cultural institution of the Novosibirsk region of the Novosibirsk regional library for the blind and visually impaired, the team is the author and developer of a multimodal multilingual platform «Environment without borders» and a tactile tablet for excursions for the blind and deaf used in the project.
The team also has 4 years of experience in the development of specialized equipment (interactive tactile modules and information terminals of universal design) and software used by election commissions in Russia for the implementation of the constitutional rights of citizens with disabilities.
